All golfers deserve to get the most fun out of their games!

It has been exciting and fun to write and complete a Kindle eBook on Custom Club Fitting.  This eBook will be formally launched in a few weeks on Amazon.com.

Completing the eBook has lead me to think a lot more about what golfers should do when they make decisions on what clubs to play with.  Making this decision is pretty darn important – your clubs become your partners in many rounds of golf, hopefully golf that you enjoy as much as possible.

Today maybe another part of that answer came to me while reading a neat little book titled "No 3 Putts," by Dave Perry.  Dave asked a group of 10 well-known professionals in the golf world a number of questions related to putting and putting improvement.  One of the folks he talked to was John Hughes, the Executive Vice President / National Director of Instruction at Advantage Golf Schools.  John's parting thoughts on putting is that ALL golfers – not only us mortals but the PGA tour professionals – are always looking to have more fun when they play golf.  Even the best play their best when they are having fun.

There can be many elements to having fun playing golf – including lower scores, winning local tournaments, enjoying your friends.  But playing well – or at least having the chance to play well, knowing that you can – seems to me to be part of the equation for having the most fun playing golf.

Those of us who are Professional Club Fitters are looking to get the best possible clubs into the hands of golfers – to allow them to hit the ball further and straighter, make more putts, shoot lower scores – Have More Fun.  We do not believe that "One Sized Fits All" golf clubs will help golfers achieve these goals and have the most fun when they play golf.  And we do everything that we can to help golfers get the best clubs to play with – and we ALSO have fun when golfers tell us they are playing better than they have every played before.

So the NEXT time you consider buying some new golf clubs – consider all of your options.  Give yourself the best chance to achieve the most fun when you play!

How About You – what was the most fun you ever had on a golf course?

Merry Christmas!

The Fit Is IT!!
