Golf HEADS or Golf CLUBS?

Well, this is the time of the year when all of the new club designs come out and there are ratings and discussions about these.  And frankly there are some beautiful looking designs.

As I was looking at all of the writeups about these, there was something that struck me that I had not realized before.  The vast majority (if not all) of the reviews are about Club Heads – not actual Golf Clubs.  I mean, a golf club includes the head, the shaft, the grip, and the specs of the club right?

So maybe as you read about all of these articles about new Golf Club Heads, you might consider the following….

 

1.  Do you think that these Golf Club Heads are likely to work well for you if the do not have the right shafts, weightings, lengths, and grips on them?

2.  Are you sure that all of these new clubs are really being played by PGA players – for example, are any of the PGA tour players playing light weight heads with 46 inch plus shafts and very light shafts?

 

Maybe yes, maybe no.  But maybe before you plop down $400 for this year's new driver Head, or $600 plus for new iron Heads, you might consider the following – which is what I believe is true…
