10 Years – WHAT A Ride!
So Much Fun – So Much Gratitude
It is almost impossible to realize – as I did a few days ago – that it has been 10 years since I retired from my scientist/engineer career to a full-time business of helping golfers to play their best golf.
The little note above came from a review of my Kindle book “The Fit Is IT!!” I actually do not remember reading it before, but it made me smile. I think I like it the most because I HOPE it portrays how I do what I do. Here a few musings about the past 10 years…
- Every day continues to be a learning experience. This includes fittings and putting sessions where I made mistakes. There have been plenty of them. This is part of the ride of getting better and better.
- Part of my learning continues to be the daily forum posts from AGCP club fitting members who are friends and teachers. And there are many other club fitters who are not AGCP members that I learn from. Thanks to you for sharing your knowledge and your friendship.
- I have helped many golfers who are amazed at the performance of the golf clubs I created for them, or the ways I helped them improve their putting. My smiles are always as big as theirs.
- I always share the truth with you about golf clubs and putting performance. Not as a way to promote what I do, but to hopefully help all of you make the most informed decisions you can related to your golf clubs and your games.
- Creating a podcast is one of the best decisions I ever made to share knowledge, and to help me improve and learn. I learn from really smart and fun people – I get to share their knowledge with you – and in many cases new friendships are created. How can anything be better than that!
- Finally, thanks to many other friends who have helped me learn and grow in the past 10 years. Way too numerous to mention.
The Ride Continues – thanks for being here!
