It’s Great To Be “STACKing” Again
Today (May 18) was an Absolute Blast for me! I decided I could handle getting back to doing some STACK Swing Speed Training. I corresponded with Dr. Sasho Mackenzie, one of the co-developers of STACK – and he suggested I go slow – starting with what is called the FLEX program, and being sure I do not do any maximum swings. I did my best to be careful!
The image above is for the initial tests I did today before I get fully into doing the FLEX program. Seven different types of swing speed measurements – one with my driver, four with different STACK weights, and two with swings with either my right hand or left hand only.
I am pretty excited about this “restart!” The image below is for where I was with STACK training right before I had my knee replacement surgery.
My STACK speed today of 80 mph is only about 4 mph below what it was in January – and I am now doing some golf fitness training using Mike Carroll’s Fit For Golf App program. I think it is reasonable to expect I can create some real driver swing speed improvements over the next few months of using STACK!
THIS LINK provides some descriptions of the different types of swing speed programs that golfers can use when they do STACK training. If you are interested in using STACK to improve your driver swing speed – you can purchase STACK and get a $50 discount using THIS LINK. (I get a $99 STACK app subscription credit if you use this link to purchase STACK).
