Clubfitting – Best to the 4th Power (+1…)

I am very fortunate to be able to learn from the best clubfitters in the world.  One of them is Keith Chatham, from Kerrville, Texas.

From time to time he writes things on the AGCP clubfitters forum that are just absolutely Right On.  He did this last week, in response to a question related to the connection between fitting and golf instruction.

What he said is that if you do your fitting and provide

     BEST ACCURACY

     BEST DISTANCE

     BEST FEEL

     BEST CONSISTENCY

That you cannot go wrong.

This to me is my goal and I believe the goal of all of the true, dedicated custom clubfitters that I know.

But what is the "+1?"  Well, you could argue I think that if you did the above four things how could you do more.  But I think the Extra Value is Listening To The Customer.  Being sure he/she has a voice in the fitting, provides feedback during the entire process, let's you know how the golf clubs play, and also let's you know when appropriate how you can improve.  Providing the Best Possible Clubfitting Experience!

The Fit Is IT!!
