Keep Those Golf Balls Warm!

Some Great Advice AND Data

Keep Those Golf Balls Warm

If you are fortunate enough to play your golf in the winter where temperatures are around 70 F – well good for you!  However, the rest of us who play in temps ranging from about 40 F to 60 F – this blog post is for you.  Perhaps to give you a LITTLE edge over your playing buddies.

I found two really neat links about this topics during the past week.  The first is from Dean Snell, creator of Snell Golf Balls.  And be sure to watch the little YouTube video that is part of this link…

Dean Snell – Does Temperature Affect Golf Ball Performance?

The second is some interesting data for really cold golf balls compared to performance for normal temperature golf balls.  Admittedly, the MyGolfSpy folks put some balls in a freezer – but it is still interesting to see the differences in performance that resulted…

MyGolfSpy – Hot vs Cold Golf Balls

All in all – keep your golf balls warm during the winter – it is worth the effort!

NOTE – FUTURE BLOG AND PODCAST POSTS!  Starting next week, my podcasts and blogs will be published on Fridays instead of on Wednesdays.  Still the same great content, just coming on a different day!
