A GREAT Golfer’s Christmas Stocking Stuffer!

Yep! – Dr. Scholl’s OdorX Foot Powder Spray

A Great Golfer's Christmas Stocking Stuffer

Last Friday I went to the range to do some testing (more later) with my trusty can of Dr. Scholl’s in hand.  Before THAT testing though I did some warmups with my 7 iron.

I sprayed the face with Dr. Scholl’s – and found out to my surprise that I was making consistent contact in the toe of the club.  Since I fit myself for center contact, that was not expected.  So I knew it must be a setup issue.  I moved a little closer to the ball – and BACK to center contact and great feel at impact.

There is probably no simpler way to help you see what your club contact is at impact than applying some type of foot powder spray to your club face when you practice.  And – as I described above – a little tune up practice from time to time can pay dividends for your shot performance and game.

So TREAT YOURSELF to a can sometime – or treat a great golfing friend to a surprise in their Christmas Stocking this year!

Now – remember my 48 Inch Driver blog post a few weeks ago?  Well, I finally hit some drives on the range with this club, and see the picture below…

Tony Wright 48 Inch Driver

Every shot on the toe of the clubhead – but truthfully, overall better drives than I expected.  All either a small fade or a little push.  Not sure I am ready to go 48 inch as a result, but a little more club setup tweaking might be interesting….

I would NEVER have known what the actual face contact was with this driver with my good friend Dr. Scholl’s – TREAT YOURSELF!!
