For a great putting setup, “square your shoulders and square your shoulder tilt.” Today I saw this on a blog post and guess what, it is not what most great putters do. I have seen measured data from the David Orr Flatstick On Line Training that I did last year, and many of the great putters (not all…) have some rearward torso tilt at address and their torso is slightly open at address. Squaring your shoulders at address sounds good – and is a push move.
