Getting A “BREAK” On Long Putts!
Getting A “BREAK” On Long Putts
Mark Sweeney (AimPoint Express) Says
PLAY MORE BREAK!!
Have you often had long breaking putts, and left the ball significantly below the hole for my second putt? Well, Mark Sweeney – creator of AimPoint Express Green Reading – recently shared with the Golf Digest staff what you need to do to make two putting these putts easier. Read this link…
On Longer Putts – PLAY MORE BREAK!!
Mark’s research has shown that if you under-read a long putt, you may end up as much as 6 times further away from the hole after your first putt!
But don’t just take Mark’s word for this – do your own test. Find a putt at least 30 feet long with at about 1 foot of break. Hit the three putts, each with perfect speed – one straight at the hole, one with 1 foot of break, and one with 2 feet of break. Then review the results.
THEN thank Mark for helping you Save Strokes on the green for your long breaking putts! And better yet – find a Certified AimPoint Express Instructor near you and Make More Putts!
