Loving Boredom! – AND – Stay Safe AND Engaged!
Like many of you, I have been blessed to get the vaccine recently (Maderna) – and am less than 2 weeks from it totally kicking in for me. What a ride.
At the same time, it has been ALMOST 3 MONTHS since I have played golf. This “time off” was a combination of some significant back and hip issues, lots of great Physical Therapy rehab, and deciding to get Trigger Finger surgery for my left middle finger.
So – Bottom Line! – today is the first day I will hit any practice balls and do any putting practice since December. For me, the hardest part of getting back is doing the things I need to do to not get injured again. This includes doing mostly RotexMotion and Fit For Golf stretching exercises, and also more and more walking to get my fitness back.
I keep remembering these words Paul Dewland said in the Do The Right Things! podcast interview I did with him…
